Senior Pattern Maker

Full time, Based in Copenhagen 

HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE

DEVELOPMENT

  • Translate the creative direction vision (drawing, drapes) into hand-made patterns
  • Participate to all creative and development fittings
  • Work towards creating the most qualitative yet cost efficient version of each design
  • Ensure the industrial viability of each of your pattern, by creating accurate and understandable documents for manufacturing partners
  • Communicate accurate consumption of each product to Product developers

 

PRODUCTION

  • Participate in all production fittings
  • Proceed with pattern alterations within production costs and timeline targets
  • Consistent communication with the production team from handover to delivery of the bulk production

 

SYSTEMS

  • Organise the pattern work flow in partnership with the Atelier Manager and Production team
  • Take lead regarding pattern library and logs - final patterns, alterations, etc
  • Ensure accurate handover to Developments and Production teams
  • Ensure a seamless communication between the junior pattern makers and assistants

WHO YOU ARE

  • Experienced pattern maker, with at least 5 years of experience in a similar company
  • Mandatory hand-made and paper patterns experience
  • CADs systems knowledge is a plus
  • Professional proficiency in English. Italian is a plus.
  • Able to work independently and meet deadlines
  • Taste for complex couture constructions and details
