    In June 2020 Cecilie Bahnsen launched a collection concept named Encore with drops of limited upcycled pieces to give a second life to ‘deadstock’ – though deadstock hardly does justice to the intricate couture-like workmanship of her fabrics. At the studio Cecilie and her team keeps every scrap of fabric because it is way too precious to throw away. Giving a new life to unused fabrics from earlier collections. The collection is another step towards integrity and consciousness at Cecilie Bahnsen.

Skilled hands magically turning paper sketches into 3D forms. From a flat sketch to sculptural silhouettes encompassing the diverse textures, the collection comes to life. Draping and creating a new take on the Cecilie Bahnsen silhouettes. It’s about clothes made by hand with mastery of the old ways, bringing the intricate details of couture techniques to life.

    Poetry and form come together to create one of a kind, hand beaded bags all created in our studio in Copenhagen. Crafted from archive materials from previous seasons come together as a companion to carry through your day. Each piece unlike the other, coming in unique color ways, vibrant colors and harmonious textures. Adorned with delicate beading, like scattered wildflowers.
