Design Intern

Cecilie Bahnsen is seeking a dedicated and creative individual to join our Copenhagen-based team as a full-time Ready-to-Wear (RTW) Design Intern. In this role, you will assist our design team and contribute ideas to the creation of our RTW collections.

The internship offered will begin in May 2024 and has a duration of 4-6 months.

HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE

Collaborate with the Design team throughout all stages of the design process.
Conduct research on seasonal themes and update design boards accordingly.
Engage in sketching, 3D draping, beading, and embellishing.
Participate in in-house fittings and maintain an archive of all fit photos.
Work closely with the design and development team to organize and maintain all aspects of the studio.
Assist with show and campaign styling and attend photoshoots.

WHO YOU ARE

Proficient and passionate about garment construction and good sewing skills.
Strong team player with a hands-on attitude, capable of seamlessly collaborating with multiple teams.
Proficient in Adobe programs, particularly Photoshop and Illustrator.
Willingness to dive into tasks and roll up your sleeves when necessary.
