Withdrawal, Returns & Exchanges

As a consumer, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days without providing any reason.


The withdrawal period expires 14 days from the day you, or a third party you have appointed, take physical possession of the goods. If your order is delivered in multiple shipments, the period runs from receipt of the last item.

How to exercise your right of withdrawal


To exercise your right of withdrawal, please use our return portal or contact our Customer Care team at customer-care@ceciliebahnsen.com before the 14-day deadline expires. Upon receipt of your notice, we will acknowledge your cancellation by email.


You must return the goods without undue delay and no later than 14 days after notifying us. Please follow the return instructions below.

Refund


Upon withdrawal, we will refund all payments received from you, including standard shipping costs, no later than 14 days from the date we receive your returned goods or proof of return shipment, whichever is earlier. Refunds will be made via the same payment method used for the original transaction. Please note that the return handling fee will be deducted from your refund to cover return shipping and processing.


Please note, the right of withdrawal does not apply to made-to-order, custom or personalised items, which remain final sale.

Follow below steps to finalise your return.


Denmark

– Pack your return item(s) using the packaging provided. Shoes must be returned in their original box, inside another solid carton box.

– If you are returning all the items you ordered, please also return the white Cecilie Bahnsen collector's box.

– Attach one pre-paid label securely to the box, ensuring the previous delivery label is covered.

– Go to your nearest GLS drop off location and hand in the package. See nearest location below.

Important: Remember to include the delivery note that came with the package when you received it. 

EU

– Pack your return item(s) using the original packaging provided. Shoes must be returned in their original box, placed inside another solid carton box, not the shoe box. 

– Attach the pre-paid return label securely to the parcel, ensuring any previous shipping labels are fully covered.

– Please drop off the package at the nearest carrier location indicated on your return label, or contact the courier to arrange a pick-up.

Important: Remember to include the delivery note that came with your order.

International

– Pack your return item(s) using the original packaging provided. Shoes must be returned in their original box, placed inside another solid carton box. 

– Remember to include the delivery note that arrived with your order.

– Attach the pre-paid return label securely to the parcel, ensuring any previous shipping labels are fully covered.

– Please drop off your parcel at the nearest carrier location indicated on your return label, or contact the courier directly to arrange a collection.

We always recommend securing a receipt as proof of shipment, as you are responsible for the return until it reaches us. 

Returns outside the EU require a commercial invoice. This has already been electronically uploaded to your return label. 




A small handling fee will be deducted from your refund to cover return shipping, processing and garment inspection:  

€10 for orders within Denmark
€25 for orders outside of Denmark

To prevent fraud, we are only able to refund the amount to the credit card that was used to place the order. We are entitled to retain the refund until we have received the items or proof of return of the items has been presented to us whichever is the earlier.

Please allow up to 14 days for us to process your return and refund. 

All Made-to-order, special orders, custom orders and personalized items are final sale and are not eligible for cancellations, returns, refund or exchange.


If you have requested an exchange, it will be processed and dispatched promptly upon receipt of your returned order. We will provide you with an update and a tracking number as soon as the exchange has been shipped.


Please note that we may choose to cancel the exchange if the item is not available. In that case, the return will be handled as a normal refund.
