Holiday Shipping & Extended Returns

To help ensure your gifts arrive in time for the festive season, please find our recommended holiday order deadlines below. While we work closely with our couriers to deliver your pieces as quickly as possible, please note that lead times may vary during this period, and we are unable to take full responsibility for courier delays.

 

Holiday Order Deadlines for Delivery Before December 24th

  • Denmark, Sweden, Finland & Norway: Order by 18 December (end of day)

  • EU: Order by 17 December

  • Outside the EU: Order by 15 December

Please note that we continue to ship orders after these dates; however, orders placed beyond the recommended deadlines cannot be guaranteed to arrive before December 24th.

 

Extended Returns
All orders placed from 20 November are eligible for extended returns until 31 January 2025.*

* Please note that Archive Sale items are excluded from the extended return period.

 

Shipping

We currently offer delivery via GLS, UPS, FedEx, or DHL Express. Please see the table below for estimated delivery times and available carriers. We offer complimentary worldwide shipping on all orders over €1500.

We ship globally from our warehouse in Denmark. All international orders are shipped on a Delivery Duty Paid (DDP) basis, meaning all relevant import taxes and duties are covered by Cecilie Bahnsen. This policy has been in effect since January 3rd, 2024, at 3:00 PM CEST.

Shipments to the United States – Taxes, Duties, and Customs Clearance

We offer Delivery Duty Paid (DDP) shipping to the United States. This means that all import duties, taxes, and brokerage fees are covered by Cecilie Bahnsen, including the recently increased U.S. import tariffs on apparel and textiles. You will not incur any additional charges upon delivery.

Please note that U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) may require additional documentation to clear international shipments. This is standard procedure and may apply in particular to higher-value goods, items made from specific textiles, or shipments flagged for further verification. In such cases, you may be contacted by the courier or CBP to provide supporting information, such as a Social Security Number (SSN), Employer Identification Number (EIN), or declaration of intended use.

These requests are part of regular customs processes and do not reflect an issue with your order.
