Cecilie Bahnsen invited good friend Fumiko Imano to bring the re imagined Amalie
Dress into her own do-it-yourself universe, with the use of her photography, glue and scissors. The photo series is Imano’s reenactment of Cecilie Bahnsen’s book “Tokyo Trance”. Photographed in Roppongi Hills, the scene is set as a fashion reportage where Imano’s twins come into play. The lively and spirited colours, movement and shapes of the dresses come to a life of their own through Fumiko’s lens. “I simply love Cecilie’s clothes because its feminine but not too sweet.” In addition to the campaign, a photo book has been composed, pulling the collaboration together in a physical form.
