For Spring Summer 2023, Cecilie Bahnsen has come together with longtime partner MATCHES, to create a six-piece capsule collection with a nod to the brand’s beginnings. Composed of signature archival silhouettes, the capsule comes to life in an effortless palette of white, black and soft blue. Dresses are adorned with signature feminine detailing of ruffles, wisp thin bows, artistic cutouts and pouf sleeves.

The collection is crafted solely using leftover fabrics from seasons past in an effort to reduce waste and to ensure that Cecilie Bahnsen’s precious textiles are never discarded. In keeping with the brands dedication to and focus on fabrics, the collection features couture-like textiles including faille, frost cloqué and stria matelassé. The frosted cloqué is crafted with a textured and abstract surface in a soft, dusty blue while the stria Matelassé creates beautiful volume lending itself to sculptural silhouettes.
