Creative Pattern Maker 

Cecilie Bahnsen is looking for a full-time creative pattern maker to join our Copenhagen based Development team. You will be working closely with our Creative Director, design team, atelier team and product developers. 

Areas of Responsibility

  • Develop and create manual paper patterns from 2D drawings, briefs from design team and/or drapes
  • Collaborate with the cutting and seamstress teams during sampling seasons to ensure high-quality fit and finishes
  • Partner up with the product developers and development team to understand timeline, needs and typical product features
  • Identify the accurate costing for each garment to be communicated to the product developers
  • Participate in all production and development fittings and provide with the knowledge to improve each product to the brands standard, while remaining in the price targets 
  • Implement amendments to final patterns, to be sealed for production 
  • Creating meaurement apecifications for manufacture and costing
  • Responsible for grading rules 
  • Partner up with production team to understand deliverables as well as timeline
  • In collaboration with the Atelier manager, develop and manage the pattern library 

     

    Ideal Candidate 

    • 3+ years of experience 
    • Knowledge of luxury and intricate constructions 
    • Detail oriented and organized 
    • Good understanding of the creative process and a passion for making patterns with experimental solutions 
    • You thrive in a fast paced environment where flexibility and teamwork are highly valued 
    • Communicate in a clear, consistent and efficient way with our different teams 
    • Digital pattern making knowledge is a plus
