VELVET - Material and Care Guide -

HOW TO TAKE CARE:
Velvet should never be washed. When needed, please send your garment in for a gentle dry clean. Please take care around water or rain, as they can stain the velvet.

HOW TO STORE:
We recommend storing your velvet garments on a hanger in an airy space.

Similarly to fil-coupé, velvet is woven by creating loose loops of yarn or threads that are then shaved into a soft and smooth hair-like texture. Once cut, the thread is called tuft. Its structure and thickness make velvet a warm, protective fabric.
