Cecilie Bahnsen operates at the intersection of couture and ready-to-wear to create luxury clothing, shoes, bags, and accessories with a relaxed, timeless style.

Our aim is to craft effortless clothes that last and that can transform the wearer, with unexpected combinations of softness and structure, minimalism and maximalism, perfection and imperfection. Each collection builds on the previous one to develop a world of pieces that can be cherished for years, passed between friends, and reinterpreted and restyled to express the individuality of the wearer.

Bespoke textiles dreamt up exclusively for Cecilie Bahnsen’s universe. As the starting point for each collection, conceptual motifs are translated into unique textures and fabrics, engineered with couture sensibilities. An expression of the brand’s commitment to luxury that begins in development and blooms into powerful silhouettes.

With responsibility in mind, Cecilie Bahnsen’s team aims to continuously seek solutions to source fabrics with a reduced environmental impact. To date, we are proud to have exchanged a number of our fabrics to certified fabrics such as Organic Cotton, Recycled Faille and Recycled Cashmere and to have partnered with Nona Source to upcycle exceptional fabrics and reduce waste.

Operating at the intersection of couture and ready-to-wear, craftsmanship is at the heart of Cecilie Bahnsen’s design ethos. Preserving traditional know-how and couture techniques, made-to-order offers an opportunity to create limited quantities of elaborate pieces just for you. Combining creativity with responsibility, each piece of one-of-a-kind fabric is used to craft runway styles and archival pieces and keep precious materials out of landfill.
